Neck pain + headache +

I've had a headache almost every day for 2 weeks now. Sunday night I started with neck pain that radiated to my ears and jaw and I was also feeling very dizzy. Today the neck pain is worse, it's making me feel sick. One side of my face feels like it's burning but it's not actually hot to touch. Temperature is normal.

I have a real issue with feeling like I don't deserve medical help and I'm terrified of wasting Dr's time because I'm just a cry baby and being dramatic. I should see my GP about this, right?

Yep, had this on and off for years. Get it in hours and can last for a month or so each time.

Splitting headache, mainly at one side but can radiate, unilateral earache (and affect heating sometimes) and pain behind eye on same side, face feels like it's burning but fine to the touch. That side of my neck hurts too and sometimes I think I can feel a hard lump where the pain is (spasm?). When I first started getting it I felt dizzy/vertigo but I don't seem to get that as much with it now.

Was referred to neuro a few years ago when it started and brain MRI came back clear (they didn't check neck), just said it was atypical migraines and sent me on my way (I get the normal type too). He (the registrar who saw me) was less than interested in me - really not a good experience - as a result I've tried to learn to live with it, although it's getting to a stage where I need to do something about it again as sometimes the pain makes me fantasise about doing something drastic to make it stop and I have to take so many painkillers these days I don't think it's doing me much good.

Sorry to blather on about my own problems with similar symptoms, but hopefully it may reassure you that, although horrible to live with, not necessarily serious. And I would most definitely see your GP. Hopefully you'll have better luck than me and at the very least they can help you manage the symptoms (if not actually provide you with a diagnosis).
