Periods stopping due to medication

I just started an immunosuppressant and there is no sign of my period. If you have had your periods stop due to medication, what is it like? I am used to having a day of pmt, then my period comes, then I get more energy, then I get a bit flat then I get more energy and then another period. Is it still like this? Is there no more pmt? Or is pmt worse as there is no period? I know they might stop some months and come others with this medication...is this a nightmare not knowing what your hormones are doing? Whatever I feel I always know where I am in the cycle and knowing this made it easier to predict energy/moods etc. Sorry had periods every month for 29 years so this is wierd! I am 40.

I can only say what it is like having them stopped due to the mini-pill and that is bloody marvellous.

No PMT, no period pains, no period, no hormonal migraines - just getting on with life. Wonderful.
