Appetite

Just to clear I'm not skinny but my appetite has vanished over the last few weeks. I'm eating out of habit not compulsion and invest yet to fancy eating or drinking today.

I've got tests on Monday at the hospital to investigate further but anything to get it going would be helpful

I'm not any help at all but in exactly the same boat!
Please let me know how it goes :)
Good luck x

I had this happen to me last month. Came on fairly gradually but by mid September had lost appetite completely, didn’t feel hungry and really struggled to eat three meals a day. On and off nausea too and fatigue. I’m fairly slim and ended up losing half a stone, even with forcing food down and having things like yogurt drinks.

Had a load of blood tests and urine tests and all clear. No obvious reason at all. Ended up having a CT scan privately which was normal. Thankfully appetite is back now and feel a bit better in general, but was hideous at the time. Not sure if anxiety related or if something else going on!

What tests are they doing at the hospital do you know?

Have you been feeling stressed/anxious at all as this can cause a drop in appetite.

How did it go op?

littlebillie · 18/11/2020 06:06

Turns out I'm very unwell and needed admission. This is an important health symptom do not ignore

Wow I'm so sorry, could you please tell me what u have been diagnosed with? Only asking as mine has been gone for almost a year and the gp just says I must have anxiety. If I could go with more info maybe they'd look into it too
