Used to be on depo but came off, went on combined pill and then stopped that when trying to conceive DS1. After DS1 went on the combined pill but had horrendous mood swings and irregular bleeding so after putting up with that for a few years came off altogether and then fell with DS2. After DS2 I was put on the mini pill due to age and being overweight. Again irregular bleeding, very, very heavy periods and was having a period almost every other week. I was then put on noristherone (sp?) which helped and periods were lighter but still not regular and then stopped. I was then told after 6 months that I couldn't be on it anymore as it's not for long term use, so I had to stop that in March this year. I had a 2 or 3 very heavy periods every other week and then didn't have anything for 2/3 months, then a period that lasted roughly a week not too heavy but not mega light and I've had nothing since. I did many poas to make sure I wasn't pg. The last few days I've been getting muscle twitches/odd flutter movements so did another poas on Thursday morning to make sure and that was negative so not pregnant. I'm 39 and my twin sister is considered to have gone through early menopause last year - is this my fate too? I'll be calling the Dr's on Monday and know I should've done sooner but with losing one of my Grandparents, a couple of close family members being diagnosed with cancer and my husband under going a barage of tests under several consultants, I just haven't got round to dealing with it. My biggest worry is that there is going to be a hidden baby somewhere although surely with at least 10 negatives and no unprotected sex, that's almost impossible right??
