Cold for 7 weeks

I am going out of my mind!

I've had an on off cold for 7 weeks now.

General cold symptoms, constant stream of clear snot. I don't know how any human can produce so much, I must go through 10 tissues an hour. Stuffy head, headache, tired, sensitive to light, attacks of sneezing. General irritated nose and eyes.

None of the 3 main COVID aprons so not eligible for a test and now, almost 8 weeks later I'm not sure how much use it would be.

Does anyone have any tips? I'm back at work next week and not working to my best .

Talk to your GP. Seems like chronic rhinitis. Best to deal with it now than later. You might need a nasal spray. Chronic rhinitis can also cause sinus issues hence the headache and eye sensitivity.

Thanks for your reply! GP is it then, not holding out much hope, my surgery is useless at the best of times and haven't even attempted it in these covid times! I just hope it's something that is easily resolved.
