Hiya, I'm going to the doctors tomorrow but thought I'd ask the advice of the millions.
My seven month old DD has strange cough, it sounds a bit like she's clearing her throat.
It first started about 5 weeks ago about a week after I had started weaning. She then developed a cold and totally stopped eating. Anyway the cold lasted a couple of weeks and she wouldn't touch solids that whole time.
She started eating again about 3 weeks ago and the food has to be really watery or she won't eat it. Then almost a week ago the cough started again, it was just a few times so wasn't bothered and it sounds like it's put on. But it's just got bad over the weekend and she's off her food again.
She does it all day, not just when she's eating, but it seems to be worse when she gets agitated, thats why I thought it might be attension seeking.
Am worried it might be linked to food but it may just be a coincidence.
