Urine has an ammonia type smell

For the past few days my urine has a really strong smell, smells of ammonia. Never had it before. Doesn’t hurt when I go to the toilet. I have had headaches but that’s it? I’m not dehydrated, I drink so much water. Any one else experienced this ? Very strange

Have you noticed any change in colour of urine or any bubbling? If not, could be stones or simply something you ate. Keep an eye on it for a couple of days and if it's keeps on worth ringing GP

Nope no change in colour, clear colour like normal. No bubbling. I do have gallstones but don’t know if that’s related ? Thank you. I’ll give them a ring tomorrow or Friday
