Where am I going wrong?

I have a healthy diet, example yesterday:

Porridge with raisins and seeds
Snack of nuts mid morning
Hummus, carrots, pitta bread, yogurt, fruit
Snack, few slices of cheese
Swordfish, potatoes, peppers, broccoli with sweet chilli sauce
Post run snack, whole grain toast, butter

I feel like I eat plenty and all good stuff, but not too much, BMI slightly less than 21.

I run 4 times pw and do some light body weight exercises in between.

I have a responsible job but I'm good at it and don't find it overwhelming. Don't work excessive hours. It's close to home and I'm finished by 5pm latest.

DC are young adults, still at home but contribute financially and practically.

Diet above is typical but I do drink approx one bottle of wine over the course of a weekend and do occasionally have a takeaway or cake at the weekend.

Get good sleep, at least 8 hours per night

But it's not enough, I am permanently exhausted. I feel like I do everything right and have a good balance between "enough" and too much stress/demands but if this is what healthy feels like I don't know how other people get through a day!

Last night I went to bed at 9:30 and slept right through to the alarm at 7am but I could easily go back to bed and sleep now.

Would recommend going to Dr for blood test. Struggled myself with tiredness and had anemia and low vitamin d levels. Consider supplements if you know you are likely to be low (heavy periods) however plenty of other disorders could be affecting your energy level.

Yes, I think you're right, I need to talk to the doctor.

I've had spells like this in the past, but there's always been a reason, e.g. a new more challenging job and/or 2 small children. Now life's pretty easy by comparison but I'm finding it harder. I am older of course...
