Anyone had a barium meal before ct scan

Does it taste awful, is it as bad as the one before having a colonoscopy

Ah, sorry, misunderstood.

You most definitely don't have barium, like a barium meal before a CT scan!

Some, but not all places do want you to drink a special solution prior to a CT scan.

Depending on what they're scanning you for, it's either aniseed flavoured Gastrografin; or really mildly flavoured very weak drink called EZCat.
