Am meeting myself coming backwards at the moment and realise I probably should go to doctors but in the meantime.... 2dc's ages 3 and 5, a bit run down (if I admit it) and probably not enough sleep but whats new. For the last 3 weeks or so have had a series of really bad headaches that stay (right behind eyes) - worse by computer (get off mn then I hear you cry!) also after af last week nearly passed out and was waaaay too heavy! Have been craving sugar and salt (and drinking water thinking this was me teling myself I was dehydrated) but this hasnt helped. Cant wake up easily and am very short with poor dh - now got cold! Apart from being a tired mummy, does anyone want to tell me what to do - between this an ill dc's am just a bit overwhelmed with the whole thing (and its dark!) horses x

I once had a headache for 2 weeks which got me so worried that I went to the GP. Just 5 minutes talking to her and the headache went. Can you take a break and have time on your own for a bit? Feeling very similar to you at the moment.

1st - your probably just knackered to be honest

2nd - get your eyes tested

3rd - get your blood sugar tested

4th - try some sudafed, the headaches could also be blocked sinuses

You sound run down, try some multi vits too, i dont have the answer re the sleep though, if anyone else does, could they get me some too

Hiya - glad I'm not the only one - guess there was that silly voice there at the back of the head saying 'it might be something' but sense was saying I was tired and needed to sleep - wouldn't we all like the magic prescription to that one?! Am going to get ees tested though as at work head gets much worse - eyes were crying of their own accord the other day - people thought I was bit odd - nothing was wrong (unless I sat down and though about anything!!)

do you have a lloyds pharmacy nearby?
they will do a blood sugar test and a bp test (im worried aobut your bp re headaches)

hfc,

Go to GP and get thyroid function test done.

Get some floraldix or mega multivits(and actually take not just leave in cupboard)

Have you ever tried pharmaton (see above) a pal swears by it, makes me feel queasy (as do all vits hence floraldix).

Hope you feel better soon.

I get a headache similar to that if I wake mid-migraine. It lasts about 7 days for me, and is only eased with some sleeping pills/ADs the doctor gave me (opens the blood vessels in the right area and relaxes it all).

Def go to the doctor
