For the past few days the roof of my mouth has been sore, it’s only today my partner noticed red spots on the roof of my mouth.
I’ve attached a photo, any idea?
Can’t get a dentist appointment, I have no other symptoms .. just this

Looks like a crop of ulcers.

Babygray2020 · 18/10/2020 21:04

Anything to worry about?

No sometimes can occur after a burn or catching area with something sharp. Occasionally viral. Will just get better by itself over next few days. Can rinse with salt water to aid healing.

I had something like this a few weeks ago and think it was a burn. Couldn’t quite remember doing it but I do have a tendency to eat or drink things that are too hot so probably easy done. It was really painful and made it difficult to eat. Took about a week to get better.

Buy an antiseptic mouth wash and use it 3 times a day for 15 days. If after this period of time the lesion is still there you need to see someone.
Are you or were you a smoker?
