Prostate Cancer Test

Thinking of buying this testing kit for my 43 year old DH. Seems worth it for just £20.
Do you think it's a scam or is genuine?

I think the question is, will the results make him panic?
There can be reasons for high readings that don’t necessarily mean prostate cancer. I think he would be better to speak to the GP if he has any symptoms or concerns.

Unless he has specific concerns/symptoms it could open a can of worms. There's a reason there isnt a national screening program for prostate cancer. Raised PSA can be due to things other than cancer, yet then often necessitates invasive investigations that leave men incontinent or impotent.

The thing with PSA tests at the Dr’s is that they will repeat the tests over a period of time to try to establish a trend.
It is probably the most unreliable test ever as a one off. If you have recently ridden a bicycle, ejaculated or are constipated , then you could return a higher than normal PSA level.
Doctor is the way to go.

Thanks all for the advice. Will go to GP in the first instance then
