I know it's front to back!
But after a wee should it be reach forward or from behind!

Welcome to Mumsnet. Interesting first post.

DramaAlpaca · 15/10/2020 00:42

All women know this without needing to ask on MN.

TheHighestSardine · 15/10/2020 00:43

Use a goose's neck. The goose will choose its preferred orientation.

You know what, I was tidying up the kitchen tonight, wondering if I had any mixers for my last drop of gin, but found a bottle of red wine! Just having a glass before bed. Absolutely nothing to do with the topic, but I thought I’d share. Not the wine of course, holds bottle tightly but the good news.

Unfortunately this is not true.

Congrats Delicious! I'm on the fancy beers myself. Bock bock.

Wow I'm sorry I asked. It was recently I was enlightened to different ways, I have had a google and it's not obvious to me, and I do not want to teach young girls to wrong way if there is actually a better way of doing it! Great if it's common sense to you but if you have been potentially told the wrong way then it's not common sense. Just asking for some advise to the best and healthiest way

OP, if you ask this sort of question at this time of night on MN it's not really surprising that it makes people feel a little suspicious of your motives.

DeliciouslyFemale · 15/10/2020 00:54

Get a bidet. Problem solved. Or a hosepipe, though it might be a bit chilly and the neighbours won’t like it.

DeliciouslyFemale · 15/10/2020 00:55

This reminds me of a certain person who asked young teenagers how to insert tampons and if this person should offer to help, while in a female only changing room. 🤢

Hawkmoth · 15/10/2020 00:58

This thread needs a diagram OP.

Oh, hang on...

francis502 · 15/10/2020 00:59

It's not a very exciting question for wild motives really. The reality is I work from 5pm to midnight, and tomorrow morning I have my 2 year old girl niece I'm looking after for the day. Recently potty trained and I don't have her often so looking for a little bit of advice before I go to bed and I'm scared to death with no time to ask for help.
It doesn't matter. It was a genuine question about something I thought actual mums might be able to help me in. I will just work it out

TheHighestSardine · 15/10/2020 01:00

Seriously, bidets are the best.

Otherwise, front to back, it doesn't matter exactly how as long as it's all going backwards.

grassisjeweled · 15/10/2020 01:01

Yes, chances are you'll work it out

francis502 · 15/10/2020 01:03

@TheHighestSardine thank you 😄

OP posts:
francis502 · 15/10/2020 01:06

@grassisjeweled I think so, I'm just overthinking anything I don't know.

@DeliciouslyFemale what is this post you're talking about?

Pixxie7 · 15/10/2020 01:58

Don’t take it to heart it’s front to back, no need to worry how far.

JessePinkmanYo · 15/10/2020 02:02

If I tomorrow were looking after my 'two year old girl niece', I'd been planning our day like thinking about a walk to the park, or thinking about what lunch we might have or planning a bake with her or if I should have bought some orange squash for her to drink; not what way I should wipe after she used the potty. Fuck off you absolute weirdo.

NiteWotcha · 15/10/2020 02:14

I'm going to hide this one
MN can reinstate tomorrow morning if they see the need
