NCd for this as potentially identifiable. Around 2 months ago I found a swelling in the base of my neck above the collarbone that which I subsequently learnt is the superclavicular area. I’ve had no pain or any other underlying health issues in the past. I’ve been referred you my GP for an ultrasound, chest x ray and blood tests as she can’t determine if it’s a lymph node ,a lipoma or a muscle swelling? I’ve been fortunate enough to have private medical insurance through my husband’s work for a quick referral for further testing. I’ve worked myself up to a state as I’m convinced it’s cancer thanks to google. I have 2 young children and no family nearby so am terribly stressed about who would look after them should the worst case scenario happen. I’m really looking for some reassurance from anyone who has experienced this to put my mind at ease?
