Hi,

Apologies for any typos. Lost my glasses today and really need them for work/life! Can't seem to find anywhere that can get me some new ones quicker than 5 days....any ideas!?

Thank you!

Selectspecs do express delivery I had mine in a few days.
I think some of the larger vision express and Specsavers have in-store labs and were doing same day, but that was before Clovis.?

What sort of glasses are they? You can buy reading glasses off the shelf in many places. Distance glasses are harder to replace.

I need them for reading and writing but also for long distance. I have a stigmatism in both eyes which is maybe why that is weird. The reading/writing is more urgent (for work) perhaps I could find some off the shelf ones to tide me over until prescription comes. Would that work for the reading/writing/typing side of things then? Thank you so much!

I have an astigmatism and find ready made glasses really painful- I can't get on with them.

Specsavers, I had my eye test on Saturday afternoon and my new glasses by Wednesday morning.

I have astigmatism and never get glases in less than a week, I'm afraid. You'll not find them ready made to suit you as ready made reading glasses are a different shaped lens.

Do you have an old pair lying around, btw? They would serve you better than something random, even if they're knackered or slightly out.

Have a look for an optician with an on-site lab near to you. Although if you have a complex prescription they may take a bit longer.

Vision express used to be same day
