Is this normal for flu vaccination?

Hi, just had my first flu jab yesterday, don't usually bother but due to covid and my job it made more sense to have it this year. Had it yesterday and ever since then I've had a sore arm, nothing major and I know that's common, but I've also been completely wiped out, literally as if all the energy is gone from me. I've had to spend the day in bed sleeping on and off and don't even feel any better now. Is this normal?

I've had it every year for as long as I can remember and never had anything more than a sore arm, but it is possible to have some side effects as a result of your body mounting an immune response.

Thanks, I'm hoping it is just the immune response and will calm down tomorrow, just hope it doesn't stretch on too long, can't do anything like this.

Yes, I had the same reponse this year. I have the jab every year and this is the first time I had any kind of response like that, so I was surprised. I went to bed for like days! My arm swelled up and was hot for days, too.

Highly unlikely your body count mount an immune reaction so quickly. Sore arm-yes.
Other thing possibly an underlying virus.

It can happen sometimes.

Yes. It isn't uncommon at all but doesn't last long.
