God I can’t believe I’m posting on here.

In 2008 I have a forceps delivery that went wrong a few weeks after birth. All my stitches dissolved prematurely and I ended up wide open 😂🤮

It never fully healed and instead of closing it just grew skin over the hole.

In 2010 I had surgery to correct it. It took 3 hours and the surgeon said they had to go deeper than the first thought.

Since then Iv been very paranoid about my downstairs. Iv never looked. Ever.

The last few days Iv had a really bad pain around my bum. I think it’s piles but it doesn’t help that I constantly leak poo!! Only a bit but if I wipe down there it’s on the tissue 😩

So I had a look this evening, and there’s a indent/scar right next to my anus which I’m guessing doesn’t help, it’s such a car crash down there 😩🤮 and my butt looks sore.

Iv put an anusol up there lol, and some sudacrem but what else can I do? Do I go doctors but what can they actually do?

Is it a new thing with the leakage? Do you think you could have a fistula? Please see your gp and ask for a referral to a colorectal surgeon if necessary

It could be actually! It’s so sore, it burns 🙈

Please call your GP tomorrow- feel very passionately women put up with too much post birth. You shouldn’t have to put up with this.

Thank you. I’m not sure what they can do? Iv already had surgery and have a lot of scar tissue down there. I’m so fed up. If me and my husband broke up I would never sleep with anyone again.

By leakage do you just mean that there is something there whenever you wipe or more than this? If just when you wipe it could be piles as these make it difficult to keep clean.

I think you need to call your GP, if there is any kind of fistula you could be at risk of infection.

willloman · 05/10/2020 23:20

It sounds like you may have a fistula which does need to be sorted - probably with surgery. Don't leave it. Please go and see a gynae ASAP. Good luck!

Good luck OP
