I've reduced his milk intake. I've reduced his food and kept it bland but nothing seems to help. Thanks

is he still ill? Does he still have a temperature?

Sometimes with a bad bout of diarrhea, the diarrhea can remain for days or a couple of weeks even though the illness itself is gone

for example my dd2 had diarrhea for a month after rota virus - it took her intestines a long time to recover.

Bland foor is important - bananas, rice, plain biscuits are good.

Is he crying tears? Weeing properly? Important to keep him hydrated. I would see a GP though. 8 days is too long for anyone to have diarrohea but esp a 10 month old.

How old is he? My DS had rotavirus when he was 7 months old. My very good GP told me to stop ALL milk until his nappies were better. ITs very hard to do but it works. Its the method I always follow now and it does work.........I think breastmilk is OK tho.

Thanks, he hasn't actually been ill or had a temperature. I'm giving him pretty much the food you suggest.
