Hi - just wondering if anyone who is hypothyroid has tried losing weight with something like Slimfast, and if so how successfully?

Shamelessly placemarking

Not slim fast but slimming world. I wasn't ridged with the program as I LOVE food and life so happy to loose 1lb average weekly, lost 4 stone altogether in about 12months. Having an under active thyroid will always make loosing/maintain weight hard but I just try and follow a healthy eating pattern now which will allow for the odd blow out. I don't think SW etc are sustainable but it helped to get better a understanding of food/nutrition and your own body. Then you can make it sustainable for you long term. Above all, Iv learned to love myself which does just as much good 😁
