Which vitamin drops do you give to your children? My dd is 7 months old.

I was given Abidec as a child but I have noticed that there is peanut oil in them and would prefer to give something else.

Any recommendations? Many thanks

Nothing at 7 months old imo.

Um. None.

Unless a doctor has told you that you need to give them because of weight/deficiency issues.

This is not usually a problem if a child is being given the appropriate diet of an under 1 year old. Which is milk, basically.

I have never given vitamin drops - were you recommended to give them?

Lulumama · 09/10/2007 16:30

none here either

unless there is a specific reason, but on the whole, babies get their nutrients from milk and a little food..

harleyweendemon · 09/10/2007 16:32

none. wouldnt think they would need any?

Thanks for your comments.
My mum mentioned that she gave me vitamin drops when I was about 6 months and a few other girls also mentioned that their mums had said the same.
I agree with you that they're not needed.
