I’m currently on antibiotics for a urine infection and I am very constipated. I’m not sure if the two things are related (ie, the urine infection and constipation) but the antibiotics do not list constipation as a side effect.

I’ve been taking Fybogel morning and evening for the last 4 days but it’s not doing much at all (tmi... I’ve had a couple of tiny, hard poos).
I’ve also upped my fibre and water.

Is there any other type of laxative anyone would recommend?

prunes and senokot

Movicol. You can get it over the counter. I've been taking it daily for years. I find anything senna based really harsh and get really bad cramps

Dulcolax. Every time. Can buy it everywhere. I find senokot never works for me.

Also, if poops are hard, dulcoease uses water in your body to centre on the bowel to make it easier to pass. If you’re impacted it may help a lot.

Movicol but ours was prescription only. Lactulose. Orange juice. Antibiotics always give me the opposite effect normally Blush
