Reading words wrong!

I’ve noticed recently that I can be reading something and get one of the words wrong. For example, I read a headline this morning which said Tory ............. and I read it as Toy......... I know I’ve done it and then read it right. I do tend to skim read fast but It’s got me a bit concerned. Don’t know if I’m noticing it more as I’m thinking about it. I’m also 51 but not quite menopausal so wonder if it’s brain fog due to this. Anyone else get this?

I do that all the time but am dyslexic... If you’ve always done it, I find it easier to change the font and make the background more yellow-y...
If you’ve just started doing it and you’re worried I’d probably ask the optician or gp at some point. You might just be reading too quick tho x Grin
