Mirena question

How long did you spot after having the Mirena fitted?

Had mine in on the 31st July, and I’ve spotted constantly since then. Some days it’s heavy, and I need a pad, some days it’s so light it’s only when wiping.

My period was due a few days ago, so I assume some of the spotting is a light period. But it’s bloody annoying! Can’t get in touch with the iCASH clinic where I had it fitted as they have no phone appointments

I only had spotting for a couple of days and no periods. Mine was fitted 2.5 years ago.

Light spotting for a few days and then nothing for five glorious years. I will be shortly due to have my second (and last) one removed and I am not looking forward to what comes next as it may have hidden possible menopause symptoms.

Most days for a year until it bled itself out!!

Several months and then nothing at all. Love mine.
