It has been between 35 and 40 days for a few months now - hasn't been less than 33 days for 18 months.

Add to this my suddenly greasy hair and spotty skin, and my moving into the late 20's - is this a hormaonal thing, or an age thing? would going on the pill sort it out?

honestly, I had less spots at 15!

mine buggered about all over the place since my late teens

I am on 27 days now, at 37

at 22 I could be from 28 to 50

I did worry it would affect my being able to conceive but it didn't

Pelvicfloorlotsofgore · 08/10/2007 20:55

Sorry can't help but can sympathize with the spots,it is a nightmare.
I can only guess that it is hormonal .

MyTwopenceworth · 08/10/2007 20:56

PCOS?

colditz · 08/10/2007 21:09

OP posts:
MyTwopenceworth · 08/10/2007 21:15

look here

Actually, going on the pill can help.

TrickORTripletEm · 08/10/2007 21:21

Might be PCOS, sounds like a lot of the same symptoms. i suffer from it and my cycle is 35-40 days. Due you suffer from pains in your side lower down mid cycle? thats the only reason mine got diagnosed. Apparently its from where you produce cysts!! Lovely image!!

colditz · 08/10/2007 21:21

Wow

Thank you! I have been packin the pounds on but I eat too much and haven't even tried dieting so that could be it.

Looks like it's back to Cileste for me....

I had a pain in my 'wombish area' a few days ago and nearly bloody fainted, actually. Thought I had come on, but hadn't.

I get it just across from my hip bone. Before i got diagnosed I was sent to A&E four times for a suspected burst appendix, I think they just got fed up of me coming in and thought lets sort the whinger out!!
You can also get some thicker body hair as well, face, chest, stomach to do with hormone levels, I don't have that though.(NO honestly I don't!!)

colditz · 08/10/2007 21:32

It wasn't an achy pain though, it was a sharp, trapped nervey sort of pain.

Oh my gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood I haver gribbley ovaries!

OP posts:
TrickORTripletEm · 08/10/2007 21:36

Yep!! Thats what the pain feels like!! You may indeed have 'gribbely ovaries'
Diet can help, most Doctors recommend the pill,oh and as for concieving watch out I had triplets!!!
