Shielding during Chemo

Hi - does anyone know if you have to shield while receiving chemotherapy treatment? It would make sense I guess - but I'm just wondering what the advice is as my Mum is starting treatment soon and I'm hoping I can be of plenty of help and support, but am wondering if I will be allowed to see her?

thank you

Shielding is currently paused

But yes your DMum may well need to take precautions. You and she should talk to her specialist nurse about what the best and safest approach should be

I hope it goes well, and has the intended effect (and not too many other ones)

Thank you @iVampire we will speak with her oncologist and take it from there.
Thank you for your good wishes too - I really hope it goes smoothly for her. She's being super brave at the moment but just wants to get on with it.
