Hello. A bit of an awkward question, but has anyone experienced anything similar?
Had an UTI in February, was successfully treated (culture came back with E Coli). Then felt a bit off in June I think, used my emergency 3 days antibiotics and was fine. No test was done. Mid August started having symptoms again, culture came back with E.Coli and Enterococcus, was given a week of antibiotics. 6 days after finishing the course ended up in A&E with back-pain and feeling really unwell. Dip test was all negative, but they gave me another week of different antibiotics anyway. GP then decided to send me for kidney ultrasound, just in case, waiting for the appointment. Did the course, was much better, but still not quite ok. A day after finishing the course still had some pain, pressure and feeling rather ill on and off. Then noticed (only when wiping after a wee) that there are tiny bits, call it debris or particles, transparent, whitish. They look like tiny crystals, but they are soft, rubbery, gel like. Once this happened, most of my symptoms subsided and I'm now feeling relatively ok. It lasted 3 days, a few times per day, not all the time. Then it stopped, but I noticed some today again. Have been on Google, but not much comes up. However, found some discussions about a similar thing and people suggested a kidney stone/sand may have passed and this is the aftermath. Has anyone come across this before?
