Sore throat remedies!

Anybody have any remedies to get rid of a sore throat ASAP! I have two babies and can't afford to be sick literally.

Gargling with salt water helps me or maybe aspirin if you have it. I'm allergic to aspirin but stupidly thought if I gargled it and spat it out it would be fine. I wasn't so I stick to salt.

Tyrozets throat lozenges, best I've found. I think you can only get them from the chemist though

If you have any soluble painkillers drink them slowly.

Tyrozets
Difflam throat spray
Loads and loads of warm drinks
Ready salted crisps (scrapes the crap off your throat and the salt helps)
Gargle with salt water
Over 30 bouts of tonsillitis here

I find that gargling with mouthwash helps.
