Eczema

So I had eczema when I was little, in the creases so arms and legs. It completely went away when I was about 14/15.

It came back when I was pregnant, I gave birth last March and I've still got it just this time it's on my hands and fingers!

Anyway, i don't know if its the eczema or not but it's completely ruined my nails!!! I can't really explain it well but they have sunken and dinted?

The pictures explain it better than I ever could!

Just wondering if anyone has had anything similar and can give me some advice and tips on anything I can do?!

Please ignore the state of my grubby nails 🙈

I think psoriasis might be connected to pitted nails. Or psoriatic arthritis. I would get some advice from a doctor.

@Wellthatsit thank you! I have spoken to my doctors. They've said it's dermatitis and gave me strong steroid cream and Aveeno moisturiser so I'll see how I get on!

Thank you 😊!!!

I get the same and have been told it dermatitis. Steroid cream and emollient usually clear it up. It flairs up when I use cleaning products so have to be careful which ones I use.

I forgot to add, if it’s around the nail bed I find it affects the nails too but once it’s cleared, the nail grows straight again

@Crazydoglady1980 mine seems to flare up when in water. So washing the dishes, bathing the baby, showers, baths! Tbh it could be from cleaning products too as I use a few and I'm always cleaning 😂!

Oh I'm so glad the nail goes back to normal! I'm hating my hands at the moment never had anything like this before!
