Arthritis?

Super sore right shoulder - had 5x physio and bit better but keeps me awake at night and need to have painkillers most days. Really hurts when I put my bra on for example and putting a shirt on over my head! Often have to use my left hand and they shoulder now hurts sometimes too!

Had bloods done 8 weeks ago and all seems fine (though just had 2x phone appointments with GP)

Know I sound like a hypochondriac which I am really not but thinking of seeing a private GP in person as really want to get it sorted.

Been going on for at least 6 months. Do you think this is a waste of time? Thx x

They'll need to do an x-ray of the area to confirm arthritis.

Try Boswellia extract. I have arthritis in my knee and it's a huge help.

I think you should get a real diagnosis, even if you have to go private and get an x-ray taken. It might not be arthritis. But the Boswellia may make it more comfortable while you get it sorted out.

The arthritis in my knee is less severe than what you describe in your shoulder.

You're welcome and I hope you get to the bottom of it.

Are you sure it's not a rotator cuff injury. They hurt like buggery and last for ages.

Singinginshower · 15/09/2020 21:53

Yep, agree with goose1964, especially with difficulty putting a bra on. What did your Physio say?

Lotty32 · 15/09/2020 21:56

Thx all seeing a shoulder consultant in 2 weeks who may go X-ray etc if necessary but 2 weeks seems a long time. Tired so eating more crap than normal!
