over the past couple of days my 3 year old has been wanting to go to the loo all the time - with little results
she also has a slight temperature and a cold
has anyone any good tips for getting rid of this sort of infection
thank you very much indeed

keep her drinking plenty of fluids, preferably water. If you are still worried tomorrow I would take her to your GP. My dd had suspected UTI, they took sample and put her on antibiotics straightaway. HTH

I would visit gp for suspected UTI

Left unchecked can (sometimes) lead to kidney problems, esp in little girls.

yes go to GP

a good friend of mind only has 1 kidney due to urine infections as a young child.

(the other kidney was so badly damaged it had to eb removed)
