What are these lumps?!

Hi,
A few days ago these red lumps appeared on my thigh. They are in a line and aren't itchy or painful. They look like bites but as I say they don't itch. Weird. The only thing I've done differently lately is I've started HRT patches and have one on my thigh higher up and around the side so nowhere near the lumps.
Can anyone throw any light on this please?

Any chance they could be flea bites? They look very similar to the bites my daughter and myself had from fleas before!

@kissmelittleass.. it could be I suppose, although we don't have pets. They've only just starting to feel a bit itchy and I've had them for a few days now. It looks like the little sod has jumped along in a line and bit me as it went!

Have you been away anywhere overnight? The only insect that I'm aware of that bites in lines like that is bedbugs .

Bedbugs? they tend to bite in a line apparently.

Dear God, not bed bugs please!! I've changed all the bedding. Should I get a new mattress??
