Hair - shedding

Not sure if this is the right place but here goes.

My hair has been getting thinner over the past few years. I'm approaching 40 so to be expected I guess. The past few weeks though I've noticed it coming out more. It's not that it's coming out in clumps but I'm noticing it more, especially at work where it's lying on a dark floor.

I've never been one for supplements, but think it could be the way to go if anyone could recommend any?

Thanks!

If it’s coming out significantly more it’s worth talking to the dr to check that it’s not thyroid/ferritin/B12 or vitamin D related.

I was told last year that I was low in folic acid. I got my prescription but after a bit of research decided I'd try it the natural way and up my diet, taking a pill now and again. That fell by the wayside but I've recently started taking it again. Could that be something?

At the time she said my B12 was fine.

Get blood tests, it could be low iron. Or you don't use Treseme do you? Made mine fall out, I googled it at the time and apparently I wasn't the only one. It stopped when I switched shampoo

Went this morning and had full bloods done.

I use Aussie, have done for years.

I have been wildly anxious about covid over the past few months and coupled with weightloss I'm hoping it's just stress.
