Panic disorder after lockdown

Does anyone else suffer from panic disorder?

Since coming out of lockdown I've had multiple panic attacks, for the last week or so they are one after the other. I'm exhausted with it.

I've always been a mildly anxious person. I actually felt amazing through lockdown. I loved it. I felt safe being at home.

I'm not anxious about catching Covid or anything like that. I've been out and about quite happy. Been back at work, reduced hours and although daunting at first, it's all good.

I don't know where these panic attacks have come from now though and how to stop them. Google is directing me towards thinking I'm suffering from a panic disorder. Nothing else majorly wrong on my life. The usual ups and downs but nothing significant. Should I go to a Dr?

I think it could be a result of having no control over what we are 'allowed' to do and the rules changing, more or less arbitrarily at random times so that we are in a constant state of 'fight or flight'
Our bodies aren't intended to be constantly flooded with cortisol, We should deal with danger as it happens and then have at least a period of normality before facing it again.
Now we have 2 enemies, Covid and Fear, which are constant, invisible and inconsistent.

Increased mental health issues are inevitable for many people.
