Corsodyl toothpaste

The dentist always seems to be pushing this toothpaste.
Is it really better than the standard ones?
Anyone got any experiences?

I was told the main difference is that you can use mouthwash straight after using corsodyl but with other toothpastes you have to wait.

I was not told that!

Are they recommending the toothpaste or gel as they're completely different?

I've switched to it having had persistant bleeding gum problems and it does seem to be better.
It took a while to get used to the taste though!
