constantly has hard round tummy. Complains uncomfortable and is constipated. Tested for cealiac - this was negative. Has a good healthy diet. How can I make him comfortable.

Cut out wheat and dairy plus any refined grains like white rice for a few days.

Give a bit of prune juice or stewed prunes.

Beans are good and perhaps give him beano to help digest.
Peppermint tea, lots of water/ weak squash, warm drinks, apples, oranges. Porridge. They all help.

Bananas can be binding so maybe cut them for a few days also.

P.S. Poor thing - I suffered with this too - sort of juvenile IBS, I think. Let us know if that helps. If not, keep asking the Doc.

Oh, sorry, and flax seed oil. I wouldn't give him plain flaxseeds as they are too high in fibre for a little tummy and would make it worse, IMO.
