Bruising

Hi looking for some advice please!

I had an itchy thigh yesterday and then noticed in the evening the scratching lightly has caused bruising with pink dots. I also have a normal bruise at the top of my thigh that I am unsure the cause of.

I have had a bruise on my thigh previously from itching it and had some blood tests which seemed normal. Do I just bruise easily then?

Who knows... but if you ever find out can you let me know please?!

Similar to you I was getting bruises where the cause was unknown. I hadn't sustained any injuries or knocks or whatever.

Had a blood test, all came back normal. So I'm still at a loss as to what the cause is.

I guess if you're overly concerned you could go back to your GP for another opinion?

I have spoke to the doctors as my periods have been all over the place too when they are usually normal, and I'm only 24. Had a blood test this morning so hopefully will get some answers!

Hi OP did the blood tests show your platelet count was normal?
