I suffer from extreme health anxiety always have done but was made worse by my sister dying from cancer four years ago, she went to her gp with minor symptoms and after tests was told she had terminal cancer and died after five months. Now every ache, pain, tummy problem has my anxiety through the roof!! My latest anxiety is a neck pain on the right side which I have convinced myself is lymphoma. Anyone else like me ??!

What did your sister die of? Which cancer? X

Willowmartha1 · 29/08/2020 17:43

@Borntobeamum it was primary stomach cancer with secondaries in her bowel.

Same here OP, and it was my mum 3 years ago. Compounded by PND a year later.

I find medical situations very difficult as well. Hoping to get some counselling soon.

I hope you can get some support too.

Hi there, I have the same struggles. I’m no medical expert however I too have had recent neck pain and swelling and had the same concerns and was told that lymphoma would be unlikely to cause pain. Could it be muscular?
