Stomach Ulcer

Anyone had one, if so what meds were they described to take and what tests did they
Have to go through to get diagnosed Thankyou

Was diagnosed via gastroscopy and then had cimetidine? and an antibiotic if I remember correctly.
I had gastric and duodenal ulcers simultaneously, (I don't know if that makes a difference) it was many years ago.

Just remembered I initially had a barium meal as first diagnostic tool, it didn't show them up.

I thought I had one but I just had some inflammation. Diagnosed by camera down the throat. Treated with Ppis such as omeprazole. HTH

I had feeling it would be diagnosed by that awful upper endoscopy

I would imagine they will offer you a sedative.
