Ultrasound scans?

If there was anything to be concerned about, would the Sonographer inform you on the day?

Had one at the end of last month but haven’t received the results back yet and the wait is making me feel on edge. I have to wait for the consultant to check them and send a letter.

Initially when the scan was arranged months ago, it was just a box-checking exercise to rule out anything sinister after irregular bleeding. But since then I have shown signs of PCOS and would really like to rule this out ASAP. If my ovaries showed signs of PCOS would the sonographer have said?

I had an ultrasound for PCOS and the sonohrapher did tell me that it did look like i had it. However I couldn't be officially diagnosed without a blood test too.

Ring your G.P. They should have the report of your ultrasound by now and I assume they would have contacted if if if showed anything that needed any further treatment.
