Low white blood cell count

Hello - I have had a series of blood tests over last few years (for various things) and they keep showing low white blood cell counts. GP hasnt seem overly worried but now have been asked to make an appointment to discuss last results.

I'm sure it is fine (didn't seem to be eager to get me in quickly) but anyone with any experience of this and it being nothing?

I've had this too. My lymphocyte count has been consistently low for years. I had some follow up tests recently, in which they checked for certain auto immune diseases, HIV, low B12 etc. All those things came back fine, so the doctor reckons that's just how my body is. She's recommended two further follow up tests, 6 months apart, but that's it. She also checked that I wasn't having night sweats, fevers and/or weight loss, which would have required a further referral. Apparently it's quite common to have a low WBC .

Thank you for that. I do get night sweats but also probably peri-menopausal so that's not unusual. I feel reassured that it's most likely just the way I am!
