Worms don't have legs. Not ever. It is sort of a defining characteristic of worms, that they are, in fact, legless. Devoid of legs.

Thread worms are about 1-2 cms long and about a mm wide, but no legs. they look like thick threads. That wiggle. And wave.

filthymindedvixen · 04/10/2007 16:40

thread worms are white and millimetres long, not inches!! They do not have legs. They look like tiny threads.

Dont know about tapeworms...
Might he have ingested these beasties? (My ds ate a spider once)

totalyfreaky · 04/10/2007 16:41

Eeeew, I wonder what thry are then, the legs are only at the first quarter of thier body, there is no way he has eaten them.

Don't sound like thread worms. Could they have been in the wash basket anyway?

ledodgy · 04/10/2007 16:43

Did you actually find these things on his pants or at the bottom of the washing basket?

totalyfreaky · 04/10/2007 16:44

Just at the bottom of the wash basket.

Lucycat · 04/10/2007 16:45

or did they not run away?

ledodgy · 04/10/2007 16:46

Sound like silverfish to me.

filthymindedvixen · 04/10/2007 16:46

oh ye gods, I have just made a terrible mistake and googled tapeworm images...

undercooked beefburger anyone?

Don't think it's a tape worm though, you'lll be relieved to hear!

Lucycat · 04/10/2007 16:47

these?

EddieTwigard · 04/10/2007 16:47

silverfish

worms 'ave no legs, no legs being one of the defining characteristics of wormitude

totalyfreaky · 04/10/2007 16:47

no not silverfish, the legs are at the bottom, as in, not out to the sides, they are in segments, the worm thing, not the legs.

EddieTwigard · 04/10/2007 16:49

would DS have pulled the legs off caterpillars?

what colour are they?

ledodgy · 04/10/2007 16:49

Can you take a photo and put it on here?

totalyfreaky · 04/10/2007 16:50

they are a creamy colour, with darker rings around the segments, and a dark, erm......face

totalyfreaky · 04/10/2007 16:51
