Im hoping for some advice.
32yo female with husband and 2 young dc (under 4yo).
Been on combi pill for 2 years since dc2 was born. Came off it in Feb due to onset of migranes, problem solved.
7 weeks ago I had my last period (regular prior to now). Immediately after period I had my first outbreak of genital herpes for years and it was actually more severe than my first outbreak. I have hsv-1 virus, dh has never had any symptoms of it.
Since then I have had no end of problems. My periods haven't returned. I have constant lower back ache. I have constant perfectly clear discharge and a lot of it, similar to the time of ovulation.
I haven't dared have sex because although my herpes rash has gone I am still sore and my skin seems torn down there.
I have an upset tummy
I keep bloating
I have a constant feeling of trapped wind, so much so the last few nights it has woken me up as the pain has been so bad like I really need to pass wind!
I am not tired, I dont look poorly and I'm not losing weight.
My gp was dismissive and focused on my lack of period, but said she wasn't concerned so didn't need me to go into see her.
Im off on holiday (uk) Monday for 6 days and I'm stressing, I dont feel quite right but I dont know why!
What could it be and is there anything over the counter I can take to feel more myself again?
