what is wrong with my boy (23 months) For the past two mornings he has been picked up and out on his feet down from the cot then he starts complaining and limping (both times with his left leg) and refusing to walk...preferring to crawl. Later on in the day, he is fine...stil eating and sleeping normally just limping and refusing to walk in the mornings? Can he fake it at such a tender age or should I book the doctor's tomorrow?

Has he had any virus's,coughs or colds etc? if so then it needs checking out. However I wouldn't have thought that a 23 month old would be able to fake it without them turning it into a game.

i doubt he would be able to keep it up, i think if he was faking it u would notice that his limping would dissapear at some points through the day, he would forget he was supposed to be doing it
