After mild gastritis

Hi there. Once recovered from mild gastritis (get it occasionally) do you go back to being able to eat what you want and drink alcohol in moderation? Thanks

I'd play it by ear. I had gastritis but it was not mild, I ate plain chicken rice and boiled veg for weeks before discovering the cause was I had developed coeliac disease... but once I'd identified to root cause I could eat everything apart from gluten.
There's quite a good gastritis group on Facebook but I've left and afraid I don't remember the exact name.
I'd stay away from acidic foods and alcohol for a while afterwards at least

Oh no that sounds awful. At least you found the cause.
Oh noooo :( I don't mine avoiding acidic food but I'd like to be able to have a socialble drink :(
