Does anyone else get random days where it doesn't matter how much you eat you are never full and always starving??
It happens every now and again for me and i just don't know why.

Yesterday I had thick seeded wholemeal bread toast with 2 scrambled eggs on top.
An hour later i was starving so i had an apple and an orange
an hour later starving again so had a banana
20 minutes later a packet of crisps
an hour later i had an omelette which was 2 egg yolks plus an egg white, ham, cheese, peppers and onions inside

An hour later starving again!! So i had a chicken breast in a small wrap

I then went out for a few hours and was really hungy all the time i was out but when i got home i had chicken breast with carrots, runner beans, broccoli, peas, mashed potato and a bit of gravy

I had brownies and ice cream for dessert - i went to bed feeling like i hadnt eaten all day my stomach was rumbling!

The exact same thing has happened today. I had 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep last night and i haven't been doing anything strenuous or stressful in the past week but i do go for a half a mile walk every day just to get out of the house.

I'm sat here now ravenous again! what is going on?? Blush

I am not dehydrated I drink lots of water during the day so its not that.

I'm 2 DPO if that makes any difference.

I get these days, it's usually linked to having done a large amount of exercise a day or two previously but not always. It's probably linked to your hormones.

I get hungrier towards the time my period is due and want to eat all the time, but it’s balanced out as on other days I’m not hungry or bothered about food. I think it’s normal. Exercise generally doesn’t make me hungrier with the exception of when I did a marathon and had two huge dinners that evening!

yes when ive had it in the past it was always one or 2 days before my period but im not due for another 2 weeks so i didnt really link it to that. Its really annoying theres not enough food in my house to satisfy the hunger Grin

I think it's a hormone thing too, some days I just can't seem to fill myself and am constantly grazing.

I get hungry around ovulation and when my period is due. I call them my pac man days and just give in - resistance is futile!
