smiled for the first time in 40 days.

It has to be the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

I just had to share that with everyone as I am so happy, and relieved as I thought it would never happen again.

Bliss, bliss, bliss, bliss, bliss.

Thats a long time, coleyboy...I've only ever had five days of it, and that was more than enough. I'm very glad for you, get well soon mini-coley!

coleyboy · 03/10/2007 21:19

DS is 14mo so we have seen smiles before.

He has been awake and unsedated for a few weeks now, but hasn't smiled. To see the smile when I walked in today was amazing.

Oh Coleyboy - I hoped this would be you

Glad he's doing well. Been thinking of you.

coleyboy · 04/10/2007 21:44

Another big step happened today as he was finally taken off any breathing support.

OMG - I have died and gone to heaven. I can pick him up and cuddle him without him being attached to anything.
