Breast lump that doesn't move or hurt

I've found a lump in my boob. I found one last December, which when I saw a consultant was told it was a fatty lump (nice) anyway, tonight I've found another one quite near the original. It doesn't hurt & I can't make it move. Apparently if it moves & hurts it's less likely to be anything bad, which fills me with anxiety.

I'm about 5/6 days away from my period starting but I've never felt a lump there before at 'that time of the month' so I dare not believe it's just hormonal.

I'm 30, mum of a one year old & not obese but defo enjoy cake.

Anyone with a similar story (good or bad) please feel free to share.

I had one that hurt and turned out to be nothing. "They" said they didn't have a clue what it was except it wasn't malignant (and then it disappeared by itself).

Some folk are just prone to benign lumps, I guess.

I had a lump that didn't hurt or move, turned out to be a fibroadenoma and completely harmless. The doctor explained that mostly they leave fibroadenomas alone, but I had an operation to have mine removed just because I have a family history of breast cancer and the doctor wanted to make 110% sure it wasn't masking anything else. It wasn't, all fine :)

Sorry, but mine didnt move or hurt and was grade 3 breast cancer. No family history and im 47.
Get it checked. Either way- at least you will know. My Gp did a telephone consult and then an urgent app at the surgery. I was reffered on 2 week pathway to the breast clinic and was diagnosed really quickly. This was April/ May so peak lockdown. I was going to wait as I was sure it was hormonal- who doesnt have lumpy boobs at 47?? So glad I didnt.

Get it checked. I am prone to cysts under my arm, but they move, hurt a bit and disappear within a few days.
Not doing anything about it will not make it go away, doing something ASAP improves outcomes should it be something more serious. Don't delay.

I have fibroadenoma (lumpy boobs, basically). None of my lumps have ever moved or hurt. I've had 4 or 5 checked. They were all benign. One was a calcifies milk duct. The other were just harmless lumps.

See you gp for a referral. Go to the breast clinic. Try not to worry.

Did you have to have a biopsy?
