DH is so tired - should I worry?

DH is mid-30’s, fit and healthy, does plenty of exercise, and not overweight. By about 3-4pm on a weekend, or after he gets home from work during the week, he is absolutely exhausted - tired enough that he could just go straight to bed. He’s been like this for a while, and we put it down to lack of sleep with our DS, but he sleeps through now so DH is getting a full night’s sleep pretty much every night. Is this just normal? Could it be diet-related? We eat a pretty good diet I think, but I’m wondering if a multi-vit might help, or if he needs to see a Dr to see if there’s anything else going on?

I'd try to get him to go for blood tests at the drs, my DH had similar tiredness and also some depression and it turned out to be underactive thyroid. I think it's much less common for men to get it, but they still do. Or could be something else he's deficient in? I'd get a dr's opinion if there's nothing else you think might be causing it

I was like this before having my under active thyroid diagnosed so it’s worth him getting a blood test. Also is he working long hours?
My DP works as a professional sports coach so essentially exercises for 12-14 hours a day. He falls asleep on the sofa every evening and has a nap during the day if we’re at home on the weekends. If we go on holiday he needs much less sleep so it’s literally just due to the amount of exercise and work he does!
