Hairloss - Please help 😢

Hi All,

I’ve been experiencing diffuse hairloss since April 2019 so all in all for 16 months. I have recently seen a dermatologist privately and am awaiting the results of a scalp biopsy. However..... in October 2019 my GP put me on the contraceptive pill Dianette and the shedding really eased off only to start up again when I stopped taking it because of side effects. Does this suggest a hormonal cause do you think? My skin also started to get a lot oilier when the hairloss started. Please could anyone advise? I have been losing my mind about a possible cause......

I'm not sure about hormones etc, sorry, but I take a supplement called Starpowa which has made my hair thicker and new hairs are growing in at the temples after 10 weeks of use.

Hormones definitely impact hair so have them checked.
Dianette regulated your hormones and is known to treat oily skin.
