For weeks now I have not been sleeping well. I go to bed and fall straight to sleep, I am not aware of being awake during the night but I am aware of being restless and having really strange dreams, and I wake feeling shattered. It's really affecting me.
I have cut out caffeine, exercise most mornings, eat a balanced diet and dont drink alcohol. I have an underactive thyroid and take Levothyroxine but it doesnt feel like that's causing problems at the moment.
I work full time and I am under a lot of pressure at work. Towards the end of last year my 21 yo son was diagnosed with cancer and spent 4 months in hospital having chemo. He is back living with us and still recovering. I wonder if this not sleeping properly is stress, if it is what should I be doing?
Hoping that someone out there has been through something similar and can give me some advice!
